UPDATE!! 2023 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Proposed Rule: Remote Identification of Unmanned Aircraft Systems

FAA Proposed Remote ID Rule 2020!!

As of Feb. 28th 2020 Only 34,134 Public Comments has been filed out of 2 Million Plus, drone owners. The goal of this NPRM is for the Safety and Security of the NAS. Where is the risk analysis?  Model Aircraft have a proven record of safety for over 80+ years. For a data driven organization, there do not appear to be any justification for this level of regulation. It appears this rule is only for the purpose of severely restricting the recreational flier and seems based on an imaginary threat. Model Aircraft have been around and flying safely since manned aircraft came on the scene and has served as a conduit for future full-scale pilots and careers in the aerospace industry. It has served as a major contributor to the aviation industry as a whole and these regulations would end that quickly.

These rules and regulations are being written by a commercial organization (Drone Alliance) who's only goals are Control and Profit.
